ELVAC is part of the MOXA TECHNICAL COLLEGE education system, which brings together an authorized network of training centers that prepare integrators, administrators and users of industrial networks for the successful design and installation of applications using Moxa network elements.

MTC e-Learning – Industrial Ethernet Foundations
Course Description: Industrial Ethernet Foundations; refresher for Ethernet networks, TCP/IP protocol, and related technologies.
Prerequisites: Basic user knowledge of networks.
Target Audience: All those interested in some of the other training courses listed below who do not have general basic experience with industrial Ethernet.
IES-L2 – Simple Network Design
Course Description: Simple network design based on Moxa products: layer 2 networks, redundancy, management.
Prerequisites: Knowledge of networking is required. MTC e-Learning – Industrial Ethernet Foundations is recommended.
Target Audience: Beginning integrators or network administrators without basic experience with industrial networks and the use of managed switches.
IES-OM – Operations and Maintenance
Course Description: Operations and maintenance of industrial networks, based on Moxa’s network management suite MXstudio and other tools.
Prerequisites: Knowledge in networking is required, based on long experience in the field or previous attendance of the “Layer 2 Networking” (IES-L2) course.
Target Audience: Administrators, integrators and designers of industrial networks.
IES-L3 – Advanced Network Design
Course Description: Advanced network design based on Moxa products: layer 3 networks, VLANs, routing.
Prerequisites: In-depth knowledge in networking is required, based on long experience in the field or previous attendance of the “Layer 2 Networking” (IES-L2) course.
Target Audience: Advanced administrators, integrators and designers of industrial networks.
IES-W1 – Industrial WLAN Theory & Praxis
Course Description: Basics of the 802.11 WiFi standard, use of WiFi technologies in industrial Ethernet, functions of Moxa AWK devices.
Prerequisites: Knowledge in networking is required, based on long experience in the field or previous attendance of the “Layer 2 Networking” (IES-L2) course.
Target Audience: Administrators, integrators and designers of wireless industrial networks and wireless connections in wired networks.
